OFFICE RENOVATION

Amber served as the Associate Design Director and Project Lead on this project by 2x4.

2x4, a world-renowned design and branding firm known for working with both cultural and commercial clients, moved into its newly renovated 6,500-square-foot office space in 2017. The firm’s design culture fosters interdisciplinary collaboration across teams, promoting intellectual and creative exchange between partners and designers. This ethos is reflected in the office design, which includes ample pin-up spaces for client and internal presentations. Most of the workspace consists of open desk stations, complemented by informal meeting areas throughout. Glass conference rooms are furnished with tack-able wall surfaces to house meetings with clients that require privacy. Custom millwork accommodates the firm’s extensive collection of reference books, materials, and finishes.

Amber was responsible for managing the entire design process, including space planning, design development and detailing, construction administration, and coordination with consultants and contractors.
