Our Story

We are a Brooklyn studio that practices architecture and interior design. We use architectural design as a vessel to integrate other design disciplines, like furniture, branding and signage. We strive to create site specific and integrated solutions for its inhabitants.

 

We have worked on a wide range of project types in scale and program. Our services span all the design phases, from initial feasibility studies, design development, through to the conclusion of the construction phase. During the design phase we work closely with the client, our consultants, and as early as possible with contractors and fabricators. We provide fully detailed construction documents including all interior design, material and finishes specifications. During construction we conduct regular site visits with contractors to ensure that each aspect of the design intent is properly realized and executed. Pre-design services include full code and zoning analyses and feasibility studies to determine a project’s potential.

Amber Foo receives her Master of Architecture degree and Bachelor degree from University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada.

She has been working at acclaimed firms in NYC since 2001, including 2x4, Diller Scofidio + Renfro, Architecture Research Office and Ennead Architects. She has over 20 years of experience overseeing numerous cultural, commercial, hospitality, residential and furniture design projects. Amber has taught in the Interior Design program at Parsons the New School for Design.
